Building a relationship
with your photographer
Meet Brandon and Samantha — two people I’ve had the joy of knowing for over a decade. I first met Brandon in high school, and later we worked together at my very first job as a sales associate at Banana Republic. Samantha and I crossed paths through mutual friends before life brought us together again as college roommates (Roll Tide Forever).
From the very start of their relationship, Brandon and Samantha trusted me as their photographer to capture the beginning of their love story. From a cozy coffee shop date in Northport, Alabama, to adventurous walks through the park, to quiet moments along the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk — I’ve had the honor of documenting their journey. Over the years, I’ve seen them grow as individuals, as a couple, and now as a family.
As their lifetime photographer, I’ve been there for the big milestones and the in-between moments: couple’s portraits, Christmas sessions, maternity photos, and their son’s unforgettable first birthday cake smash. These photographs aren’t just images to me or to them — they’re chapters of a family legacy preserved through how I view my work — storytelling photography.
Why Investing in a Lifetime Photographer Matters
Choosing the right photographer isn’t just about booking one session; it’s about building a relationship that grows with you. A family photographer who stays connected with you over the years understands your story, your personality, and the little details that make your moments unique.
Here’s why I think it's both fun and impactful to invest in a lifetime photographer:
- Comfort and Trust: When you know your photographer, sessions feel natural and relaxed. That’s when authentic smiles and real emotions shine through.
- Consistency in Style: Your photos tell a seamless story from year to year, milestone to milestone.
- Celebrating the Everyday: It’s not just about weddings or birthdays — it’s about the cozy Saturday mornings, holiday traditions, and candid laughter that deserve to be remembered too.
- Family Legacy: A lifetime of captured memories means you’ll have an album of stories to pass down, not just a folder of random images.
My Heart Behind It
I strive to build relationships with my clients — to cheer you on, celebrate your milestones, and capture the fleeting moments that deserve to live on for generations. Being your photographer is not just about one session; it’s about being part of your journey.
When you invest in a lifetime photographer, you’re not just booking pictures — you’re investing in joy, comfort, and a visual legacy. It’s a partnership that celebrates who you are, year after year.
